Methodology for teaching arithmetic and geometric progressions based on the educational experience of Finland, Singapore, and South Korea

This article analyzes the approaches to mathematics education in the Finnish, Singaporean, and South Korean education systems and, based on these experiences, highlights the issues of improving the methodology for teaching arithmetic and geometric progressions. During the study, similarities and differences between the education systems of the three countries, the methods used in the educational process, and the methods of teaching students mathematical thinking were studied. Also, based on these experiences, methodological recommendations were developed for the effective teaching of progressions in mathematics lessons.
